I didn't get to watch much of Shark Tank, but I have been spending most of my leisure  watching Dragons' Den.

And I can't stop opening my mouth in amazement after hearing  some of ideas that were tabled before the Dragons'.


Though some of the idea sounded stupid, a handful of them were really good, but because of one or two misalignment, all their well crafted pitch went into the toilet–the Dragons' won't grant their request.


There was these two guys that came, I really feel sad that they had to come to that show to ask for support. They had a valuable idea, and the fact that they demonstrated it sounds more convincing, but because, they've not yet transformed it into a product, which was why they came, they were not giving any offer, not even the one they asked for–all the Dragons' opted-out.


I still find it incredibly painful, I could see the pain in their eyes, but the other guy masked it well. Thanks to chemical ENDORPHIN.


There was this other guy I also saw, though I couldn't comprehend what his idea was–don't let me say it was rubbish.

He pitched as if he's been asked to recite bunch of memory Verse. 

You know how you use to do it in then when you were in children church? Exactly!


But as funny as this sounds, remember the saying "always put your best foot forward?" So no judgement to him on that.


However, from the ones I have watched, one important lesson jumped at me. And that is, when you are designing a product or service, make sure it is in compliance with reality; not in a utopia that doesn't exists.

So it should be your skill serving people's need and not the other way round.
