Linch Pin To Being Lucky
Some months back, I was privileged to be at a book club hangout. As I remembered that day, I made effort to jar my memory about everything that happened on that day. Amongst the things I remember was, been called upon to make an introduction about myself. After saying my name and all of that, the anchor, whose energy level I dearly admire asked me a question. The question she asked was, "do you believe in luck?" With a long pause, I thought hmmm! Why did I get that kind of question? I mean–every other person's were been asked about their hobby and this is what I got! Well, this is a tough one, who doesn't pray to be lucky?! I can't really recall everything I said, but I recalled saying something like, "luck is not as important as preparation"; I went ahead making instances to justify my claim.
