What you should know about Creative play.
Now that you're seeing "play" does that mean creative play is for children?.
Just recently, in the quest of knowing how " creativity" forms in us as humans, I took my younger brother, who's way more far from every child my parents gave birth to ( I mean in age), as a case study.
I noticed that after running around with his friends, he'd form the habit of drawing on any piece of paper that comes his way, and that's what I call creative play. He started this, since the day I presented him with a drawing I painted in his presence.
Even as a young adult it has really helped me in some real good way.
Creative play is that thing that gets you energized and ignites the good feeling about making stuff.
It's not challenging but it stretches your perceived creative capacity, because it requires some sort of effort. With creative play you can key into whatever comes to your mind, because it gives you the sense of "you can do more, and not just more but make it look amazing".
For me creative play.....
🍅 Improves your mood.
Have you discovered that after writing out everything in your mind unto a piece of paper, you feel differently good.
🍅It improves your self esteem.
There no magical moment than the moment you created something out of nothing. It's always mind-blowing.
🍅It improves your cognitive function.
In the process of doing that are creative, you active part of your brain that are not always into action.
You can take a study of someone who have a musical instrument experience, compare to those who haven't.
🍅it improves your social life.
Engaging in Creative activities, like photography workshop, music group, or cooking lessons are gives you a huge opportunity, to meet people and make friends.
🍅it also alienate stress.
It's absolutely impossible to be stressed when you're engaged with something that captives you.
I have a friend who love cooking, he told me he had many of his writing inspiration for cooking, isn't that amazing?!. 🤯
