My 4 A.M Thought

I have been awake as early  as 4 a.m.

With the thought of let me see what's going on with Zukerberge people.

I came online, though my intention was to just check my messages, notification and go.

For those who love the space, we all know that this app has its own way of pinning one down, i didn't know when I dived into  check the news feed, as I kept scrolling, I caught a glimpse of a post with the phrase " age does not matter" complementing it.

I didn't stop to read, since my brain  had once again reminded me of my agenda, so I logged off.

I took my Bible to read since it's morning already and besides I had told myself,

I would  try reading my Bible every morning before setting for the day call, and that has cause me to wake up by 4 a.m.

I opened my morning guide, which directed me to read a certain part of the scripture.

As I read on, I stumbled on on a part that says "... teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom".

Seeing that reminded me of what I saw on Zukerberge village billboard that morning, which also reminded of my conversation with someone I know. After our talk he simply ended it with " it's only God that can help us and besides age doesn't matter".

My confession is, I was once a believer of that phrase.

since my belief change, I have been to think if age doesn't really matter, why can't you buy a phone for a five year old child.

If age doesn't really matter why is marriage limited to a man and a woman?. And  we all know that for one to be called a man or a woman, they must have some certain prove, be it increases in age, mentality, character and many more.

Personally, for me I believe age most time drives us to do things, because whenever I remember, I would be turning plus one in the following month or year, it pushes me to do things, I wouldn't ordinarily do if I am a believer of age is just a number.

Age is for us to earn wisdom not to be limited, so I see age as I will see each days, weeks and months of my life.

Do you think its a joke when the Bible says

"... remember now thy creator in the days of your youth?".

I would like you to ask any old person you can find around, get into conversation with them.

If they've also lived by the  principle of "age is just a number" you ll'd see the regret in their eyes.

My Admonition, to you reading this piece is to do whatsoever you can now that you have the ability, see age as you see time; time is a resource itself.
